Marinette: NO KINGS Indivisible Rally · Stephenson Island (1680 Bridge St.) 10- 11:30 am

Join Marinette Menominee Indivisible for No Kings, a community rally on the beautiful Stephenson Island, where Wisconsin and Michigan meet—divided only by the Menominee River, united in purpose.

The event commemorates the early hours of April 19, 1775, when Paul Revere arrived in Lexington after his legendary ride to warn that the British were coming. Nearly 250 years later, we gather on that same day to sound a new alarm: authoritarianism has no place in America. No kings. No billionaires buying power. Just the people.

Expect: 🎶 Music, 📣 Energizing chants, 🚶 An optional symbolic walk across the bridge, 🤝 A chance to connect, organize, and act.

This event falls on the day before Easter, and what a great opportunity to spend a few hours with the whole family defending our values. We also invite attendees to bring a canned good or non-perishable item when you arrive. All collected items will be donated to a local food pantry serving communities on both sides of the river. Let's make sure nobody is hungry this holiday.

Our April 5 "Hands Off" rally drew nearly 200 participants—and we’re aiming even higher this time. We’ve fine-tuned the program, brought in new energy, and we’re ready to make this one even more impactful. Let’s shoot for 500 strong!

Come as you are—bring your signs, your spirit, and your friends. Let’s raise our voices together and say it loud: No Kings. Only the people.
